Our Story

Abundant Life Creative Services, LLC was born in 2005 when our founder, Edwina Findley, began noticing the detrimental influence many music videos, billboards, and entertainers were having upon the youth and young adults in her Brooklyn neighborhood. A television actress herself, she was heartbroken to observe how many youth were confused about what true "Life" was and what goals and values were actually worth pursuing.

Recalling the transformative impact of youth ministry, performing arts, and positive role models in her own life, she began soliciting members of the arts and entertainment industries to speak and lead workshops for youth and their parents around New York City. Soon after, organizations in other states began requesting workshops and speakers as well. Following a tremendous response to a pilot program she and noted psychologist Alan Goodwin designed for low-income mothers and children in Brooklyn, Edwina knew she had to go all the way with building Abundant Life.

Edwina has since been joined by an illustrious "Cast" from such popular shows as The Wire, Friday Night Lights, and Law and Order, and together they continue to blaze trails in both the industry and the community. With unique backgrounds in entertainment, education, ministry, and motivational speaking, Abundant Life's fascinating facilitators and stimulating workshops inspire young people to reach for greatness by tapping into the special gifts, talents, and abilities they intrinsically possess. We have collectively led over two hundred workshops for universities, schools, ministries, and performing arts institutions all over the country, and we're looking forward to coming to your group as well!
