Jarmel R. Evans ministry is a high velocity, uninhibited worship encounter geared toward empowering the urban and young at heart generation to experience the authentic manifest presence of God.

Jarmel was once told by his mother, “Son, God is going to make you a worshipper,” and Jarmel is now hopelessly in Love with Christ and loving it. This is proven evident through his remarkable style of worship, praise and preaching. His energetic and most passionate plea for consistency among body comes from the intensity in prayer his mother prophesied over him. Jarmel attended many schools that enhanced his life such as Patterson Elementary, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Cardozo Sr. High School and Bethune-Cookman College where he studied Psychology and English. His college experience is where his profound relationship with God was birth.

Jarmel has been spiritually mentored and parented by some of the most prolific and powerful men and women of this ecclesial era such as; Bishop Alfred A. and Co-Pastor Susie C. Owens, Pastor Anthony Franklin, Pastor Harold Wilder, Bishop Thomas W. and Prophetess Juanita Bynum-Weeks and Shannon and Elke Pettiford. These ministerial experiences were not mere pastoral occurrences; these have poured into him personally and have imparted mantles of potent spiritual significance.  He currently is ministering at 4 His Glory Ministries in DC, under the leadership of Pastor Shannon Pettiford; where he is the worship leader and serves on the evangelism outreach ministries as a minister.  Jarmel has ministered with noted local and national recording artist; including Vicky Winans, Detrick Haddon, Izzy, Tye Tribett and others. He has also been featured on such internationally acclaimed arenas such as BET Teen Summit, Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference-Baltimore, MD, Gospel Heritage and Trinity Broadcasting Network.

Jarmel has also ventured out, through the power of God, in his own outreach ministry “The Warehouse” where the broken from all walks of life can be ministered to with out the strain of the churches four walls. C.O.R.E. Bible Study is a major part of his 2008 ministry streams, along with the dream of gathering together, in 2008, the largest prayer, praise and worship gathering in the city, of Washington, DC, “State of Emergency DC2008.”  He is also set to release, Samuel’s Heart “The journey of a worship leader gone passionate."
